Rector, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak. released the distribution of food packages ramadhan in charity at the Airlangga Convention Center (ACC) MERR-C Campus on Saturday, April 23 2022. To enliven the last ten days of Ramadhan 1443 H, Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR), on of the best state universities in Indonesia, has distributed 3,000 berkah ramadhan (ramadhan in charity) packages to various communities on campus such as an orphan student, bidikmisi (scholarship for low income students) students and other communities affected by COVID-19 pandemic.

The initiative was spearheaded by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, the distinguished rector of UNAIR, who emphasized the importance of supporting SDG 2 (Zero Hunger). In his address, Rector Nasih stated, "We believe in the power of education not only to transform lives but also to make a positive impact on our society. Today, we take a step forward in our commitment to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals by addressing one of the most basic human needs - access to food."

UNAIR's efforts underscore the vital role that educational institutions can play in addressing global challenges, serving as a beacon of hope and a source of inspiration for other institutions and communities to join the fight against hunger and poverty.
