Airlangga University and the Surabaya local government collaborate to establish a sustainable and inclusive smart city. The collaboration encompasses diverse sectors, including health, tourism, and the economy, and places a special focus on affordable housing to enhance the quality of life for Surabaya's residents.

The partnership between UNAIR and the Surabaya local government represents an ambitious effort aimed at establishing a smart city that aligns with the principles of sustainability and community well-being. This holistic approach integrates multiple aspects of urban life, including governance, quality of life, the environment, and human resources.

Affordable housing is at the forefront of this collaborative effort. The goal is to ensure that local residents have access to housing that is not only affordable but also offers a high quality of life. Housing affordability is a critical issue in many urban centers, and this partnership strives to tackle it head-on.

To address the affordable housing challenge, UNAIR is collaborating closely with the Public Housing, Settlement Area, and Human Settlement Company in East Java. Together, they are engaged in discussions related to house price estimation and property evaluation, with a specific focus on properties owned or managed by UNAIR.
