In an effort to foster sustainable water management practices, Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) actively engages local communities through educational initiatives focused on freshwater ecosystems, water conservation, and effective irrigation methods. These programs, part of UNAIR’s commitment to environmental stewardship, provide practical tools and knowledge to promote the responsible management of freshwater resources.

Water Conservation and Hydroponic Farming in Pasuruan

Under the Airlangga Mobility and Community Outreach (AMCOR) program, UNAIR organizes workshops aimed at instilling a sense of environmental responsibility among youth and local residents. In Pasuruan, the Faculty of Advanced Technology and Multidiscipline introduces communities to innovative hydroponic farming methods.
