SDGs Center UNAIR - Universitas Airlangga continuously gives significant contributions for wider communities in local, national, and global. These contributions are obvious from the efforts of Faculties in implementing SDGs projects. In addition, for producing the highest impact projects related to SDGs, the SDGs Center of Universitas Airlangga team held several roadshows for the faculties. The roadshows held by the SDGs Center team during the second semester of 2021 became part of sozialisation which focuses on SDG 4 about quality education about Sustainable Development Goals. There are 7 faculties who joined the sozialisation including Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Economy and Business, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Advanced Technology and Multidisiplin, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Pharmacy, and Faculty of Dental Medicine. Bayu Arie Fianto, SE, MBA, PhD as the Head of SDGs Center of Universitas Airlangga stated that sozialisation about SDGs is very important. Besides, the SDGs Center team is always available for giving insight and accompaniment about the best SDGs achieved by Universitas Airlangga for the faculties. This aims to create impactful and sustainable projects. “These socializations will broaden our relation between SDGs Center and SDGs team from faculties. Besides, these aim to give more explanation and detailed insight for the SDGs projects,” explain Bayu Arie Fianto as the Head of SDGs Center.
The Faculty of Nursing is the first faculty who invited the SDGs Center through a Zoom meeting for socialization about SDGs on Thursday (26/8/21). The next day (27/8/21), a sozialisation for the Faculty of Economy and Business was scheduled, followed by requested socialization on the same day for the Faculty of Science and Technology.

The next month, specifically on Thursday (2/9/21), a socialization was requested by the Faculty of Advanced Technology and Multidisiplin. In addition, the Faculty of Humanities also asked for a scheduled meeting on Wednesday (28/9/21). During the socialization, SGDs team of Faculty of Humanities explained that they have made a website for SDGs purpose only.

In October, there were 2 requested socializations for the Faculty of Pharmacy (18/10/21) and Faculty of Dental Health (29/10/21). For the first time, the socialization for the Faculty of Dental Health was held both online and offline.

“The roadshows held to seven faculties within three months is a significant progress towards SDGs awareness among UNAIR academics. It is hoped that more people will participate in programs related to the SDGs" concluded Bayu.
