Universitas Airlangga – As a form of extraordinary dedication to social responsibility, the Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga (FH UNAIR) is taking unparalleled steps in providing free legal consultation and assistance to underprivileged students and the wider community. FH UNAIR's Legal Consultation and Assistance Unit (UKBH) is at the forefront of this breakthrough by providing vital legal support as a form of community service.

The core of FH UNAIR's mission is a commitment to inclusivity and justice. UKBH has become a ray of hope for those with limited economic means, by giving them access to legal consultation and assistance at no cost. This unprecedented act of generosity and social outreach is proof of FH UNAIR's solid belief in the transformative power of education and legal support.

Founded in the 1970s, UKBH FH UNAIR was established as one of the oldest campus legal aid service institutions in Indonesia, together with the University of Indonesia and Padjadjaran University. Over the years, it has developed into a platform for community empowerment, providing assistance to those in need without any cost.

FH UNAIR's commitment to providing free legal aid is also felt by its students. Every semester, UKBH opens the door to student internships with the main priority being internal students at the Faculty of Law. The internship program, specifically designed to accommodate student learning, equips them with practical skills in both non-litigation and litigation areas.

Each internship student is closely guided and supervised by experienced lecturers who also act as consultants at UKBH. Throughout their internship, students gain valuable experience in creating legal documents, honing interview techniques, and perfecting client assistance skills.

Upon successful completion of the internship program, students will be awarded a certificate validating their new skills, marking them as a force for justice in their community.
