SDGs News – Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) is prioritizing pedestrian access across its campus, implementing measures to ensure the safety, convenience, and inclusivity of all students, faculty, and visitors. With a thoughtfully designed layout featuring wide sidewalks and dedicated pedestrian zones, UNAIR provides a walkable environment that facilitates smooth and safe movement between campus buildings and facilities.

SDGs News – Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) is advancing work-life balance and sustainability with the launch of a formal telecommuting policy that enables employees to work remotely on a flexible basis. This policy reflects UNAIR’s commitment to reducing daily commutes, promoting employee well-being, and fostering a modern work environment that aligns with sustainable practices.

Under this new policy, faculties, units, and departments are encouraged to adopt remote work options for roles that can be performed effectively outside the office. Additionally, UNAIR has introduced a condensed working week for eligible employees, allowing them to fulfill their required hours in fewer days, further minimizing commuting frequency and supporting a healthy work-life balance.
