SDGs Center UNAIR - Universitas Airlangga continues to improve cooperation with national and international institutions, especially in the effort to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
On December 1, 2021, several representatives of the SDGs Center Team consist of Bayu Arie Fianto, SE., MBA., PhD., Prilian Cahyani, SH, S.AP., MH, LLM, and Savira Rizma Yunita, SM., visited the National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS) to discuss the cooperation related to the Sustainable Development Goals. The SDGs Center of Universitas Airlangga representatives met with Dr. Sanjoyo, MEc as the National SDGs Coordination Secretariat. 

During this collaborative visit, the SDGs Center also communicated the arrangement for inviting BAPPENAS to the inauguration of the SDGs Center which is planned to be held in January 2022. Not only Bappenas, but also several agencies, such as the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Culture, will also be invited to the inauguration event.

The cooperation visit with Bappenas resulted in a lot of praise and suggestions for the future SDGs Center. One of them is a gratitude for the enthusiasm of the Chancellor and the academic community who have formed a special unit focusing on the Sustainable Development Goals and the existence of the Chancellor's Letter regarding this matter.

Several SDGs project recommendations from Bappenas regarding the community service to achieve the SDGs were also expressed. For example, to reduce the stunting problem in East Java, it must start from the lowest level by creating socializations about stunting. This socialization can be delivered through the community service program as the empowerment action for rural communities. For future continuation, the Community Service Program is expected to have a high and sustainable impact.
