SDGs Center UNAIR - In a technologically advanced era, it cannot be denied that other issues arise, such as the worsening of air quality caused by the vast amount of carbon emissions generated every day by motorized vehicles. Starting a new habit to reduce carbon emissions is an excellent first step that may be taken at any time, even at a small scale like a university.
Universitas Airlangga provides wind bicycles and electric bicycles among campus residents in order to minimize carbon emissions and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). At UNAIR, students and staff can use a variety of wind bikes as well as seven electric bicycles. Many people are turning to electric bicycles since they are environmentally friendly and do not create pollution-causing emissions from combustion.
